Three Falcons to Participate in FCSAA JUCO Classic on October 13th

The 2019 FCSAA Fall JUCO Classic will be taking place at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium this upcoming weekend. The Daytona State Baseball program had three sophomores nominated to play in the JUCO Classic on Sunday at 10:00am. 

 

Bobby Sparling, a Palm Coast outfielder, will be playing right field for the Mid-Florida Conference in the JUCO Classic. Sparling earned All MFC honors following his freshman year playing in 40 games and hitting .301 with 9 doubles, 4 home runs and 29 runs batted in. Sparling will major in Biblical Studies. 

 

Zach Henderson, a Trinity, FL pitcher, will be pitching for the Mid-Florida Conference in the JUCO Classic. Henderson earned All MFC honors following his freshman year after appearing in 20 games with 61.1 innings pitched and posting a 6-2 record on the mound. Henderson will major in Business Finance. 

 

Mason Sharp, a Palatka, FL pitcher, will be pitching for the Mid-Florida Conference in the JUCO Classic. Sharp was voted into the JUCO Classic by coaches in the MFC. Sharp had 18 appearances with 11 starts in his freshman year throwing 48.2 innings. Sharp will major in Kinesiology.
