RALEIGH, NC — Daytona State College used balanced scoring and a dominant inside presence to defeat Wake Technical Community College 91-70 on Friday night. Daytona State built a comfortable lead with a 48-32 first-half advantage and outrebounded Wake Tech 55-29.
Seydina N'Diaye led Daytona State with 21 points and 13 rebounds, shooting 15-of-17 from the free-throw line and contributing six blocks. Noah Mendy added 19 points (6-of-13) 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Tyrese Lacey chipped in 10 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and 4 steals. Trey Wilson finished with 11 points and 8 rebounds.
