In addition to his high school success, Settles has been a member of the Austin Rivers Southeast Elite program since 2017, serving as a Head Coach and Head Skill Development Trainer on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. As the head coach of the 16U team, he helped guide SE Elite to the 2024 Adidas 3SSB National Championship, the first national title in program history. Throughout his tenure, Settles has helped develop and mentor student-athletes at all levels, with numerous players advancing to the collegiate ranks, including seven Division I signees from the 2025 class.
Settles previously served as Associate Head Coach at The First Academy in Orlando under Chris Mayberry from 2017-18 and 2020-24. During his tenure, he helped establish one of Florida's premier programs.
From 2018-19, Settles served as a Graduate Assistant under Hall of Fame coach Steve Ridder at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he was heavily involved in player development, film breakdown, and team operations.
Settles began his coaching career at the University of North Florida, serving as a Student Manager and Student Coach under Matthew Driscoll from 2013-16.
