Tyson Kelderman joined Reed Ridder’s staff as an assistant coach in June 2026.

Kelderman arrives at Daytona State College after three seasons as an assistant coach at Northwest Florida State College, helping lead the Raiders to two NJCAA Elite 8 appearances, and a 2026 Panhandle Conference Championship.

Prior to Northwest Florida, Kelderman served as Graduate Assistant at the University of Missouri under Coach Dennis Gates. The Tigers made the 2023 NCAA Tournament, and Kelderman coached NBA draft pick Kobe Brown.

Kelderman spent the 2021-22 season as Graduate Assistant at Cleveland State University, where the Vikings won the 2022 Horizon League Championship.

Kelderman earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Iowa State University in 2021, and later received his master’s degree in positive coaching and athletic leadership from The University of Missouri in 2023.
