Martinez Earns Runner of the Week Honors

Daytona State sophomore Andy Martinez has been awarded the Runner of the Week honor for NJCAA Region 8. Martinez won the Florida Horse Park Invitational 5000 meter race in 16:00 flat, and opened up an early lead on the field. He beat the second place runner by 59 seonds in a commanding win on a soggy, slightly rolling course. Congratulations Andy!
