Falcons head to the Beach

Daytona State Men's Cross Country will kick off the 2023 season with the annual Run the Beach Relay.  The race will take place at Frank Rendon Park, 2705 S Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach.  The men's race will begin immediately after the women's race (6:30pm) with a 7:10pm start time.   Along with the Falcons, this year's field will include Florida State College - Jacksonville, Lake Sumter State College, and Seminole State College.  The race is a relay event where each team pairs up their team and each runner runs a total of three miles, alternating trips down the beach with their partner.  Daytona State captured last year's team title, along with the winning pair.  This year's squad will look to set a record of running the fastest in school history for the top three pairs.
