Baker Named Runner of the Week

Daytona State freshman Caden Baker is this week's FCSAA Runner of the Week for men's cross country.  Baker, graduate of George Jenkins High School, was the top junior college runner at the Seminole Invitational hosted by Florida State University.  Baker placed 92nd out of 317 runners, in a race loaded with NCAA Division 1 teams.  He ran a time of 26:46 for the 8000 meter distance, helping the Falcons finish 17th out of 34 teams.  This is the second time this season that Baker has won the award.
