Daytona State College took control on their home floor Saturday, rolling past Florida SouthWestern 74–55 in a strong conference win. The Buccaneers came out hot with 24 first-quarter points, but the Falcons tightened up defensively and flipped the game in the second and third quarters, outscoring FSW 38–18 over that stretch. By the fourth, Daytona State had all the momentum and closed things out with a confident 21-point final frame.
Lamiyah Hogans led the Falcons with 24 points on an efficient 9-for-12 from the field and 4-for-7 from three. Jaeden Williams stuffed the stat sheet with 7 points, 7 assists, 3 steals, and 3 boards, steadying the offense and helping push the tempo after the first quarter. Raili Bast had a perfect 4-for-4 shooting night, finishing with 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 block. Off the bench, Jayda Scorza added 7 points and 8 boards, and Khalise Vidal had 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 points of her own.
