The Daytona State women's basketball team secured an impressive 69–40 win, pulling away with a commanding performance after a strong start.
The Falcons held a slim 16–13 lead after the first quarter but exploded in the second, outscoring their opponent 16–4 to take a decisive 32–17 advantage into halftime. Daytona's defensive pressure and fast-paced offense continued to shine throughout the second half, maintaining control and cruising to the 29-point victory.
Freshmen Lamiyah Hogan and Yali Levy led the way offensively, each contributing 10 points to pace the Falcons' balanced scoring attack.
