Four Falcons Earn All Region

Daytona State women's cross country tied their own record for the number of All Region slots filled at one meet. The 2025 Falcon squad walked away with four of the top seven spots at the FCSAA Region 8 meet last Friday at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee. Freshman Emma Turner was the runner up in the race with a time of 19:19 and has become the second fastest freshman in DSC cross country history. Sophomore Brianna Crawford placed third overall and out sprinted two competitors in the final seconds of the race for a time of 19:39, almost three minutes faster than her freshman outing at the same event. Freshman Kennedy Flores would cross the line in sixth place overall with teammate Tiffany Cox grabbing the last All Region spot. Cox was eighth in last year's race and was not going to let that happen again. The Falcons fifth runner, freshman Kyleigh Halloran, who has improved all year long crossed the line in eighth position and helped the Falcons score a low of 26 points, winning the team title over a distance Gulf Coast in second with 85 points.
Next up for the Falcons is the NJCAA National Division II Championships in Ft Dodge, IA on November 8th.
