Bio
A 2022 graduate of Oviedo High School, Giovana decided to try track and field her senior year of high school. She fell in love with the sport and excelled in the 400 meters. She caught Coach Wilson's eye and her college running journey has begun. A strong student, Giovana graduated with over a 3.8 gpa.

Why did you choose Daytona State College: "I chose DSC because if was very welcoming and I feel that I will grow as runner."
Coach's Comments: Having only run the 400 in track for her senior year of high school, Meade grabbed the last All-Region spot at regionals last year and then dabbled in the 800 on the track, posting a personal best of 2:18 and has primed herself for her second cross country season with a good summer of training.
